Tibetan Preliminary Election (Photos)

On a chilly Sunday on October 18, Tibetans in Washington, DC area joined other Tibetans around the world (except those in Tibet) to cast their preliminary votes for Sikyong (Tibetan Political Leader) and Chitu (Parliamentarians).  Fifty eight percent of the local Tibetans turned out to vote and the oldest voter was in his eighties and the youngest was 18.  Here are some photos from the day:
