Virginia Lieutenant Governor candidate visits the local Tibetan School (CATA)

Bodyig Lapta was very excited to host Virginia Lieutenant Governor candidate Gene Rossi (a Democrat), who visited yesterday to meet with members of our wider CATA community. He spoke of his commitment to religious freedom and to giving a voice to the voiceless, and of his own family experience as immigrants from Italy.

He reiterated his commitment to inviting His Holiness the Dalai Lama to an official visit to the State Capitol and declaring a "Tibet Day" in Virginia.

Please remember to vote in tomorrow's primary election!

Your voting location is the same place as November's presidential/congressional voting. As long as you're registered to vote, you can request either a Democratic or Republican primary ballot. Please see: http://www.elections.virginia.gov/voter-outreach/where-to-vote.html

(As always, Bodyig Lapta does not endorse any particular candidate, and is pleased to host any candidate as a community service and an educational opportunity for our children.)

Thank you,

Your Bodyig Lapta board
