CATA Celebrates Democracy Day
The local DC Tibetan community gathered for a celebratory picnic on Saturday, September 2nd to commemorate the 56th anniversary of Mangtso Duechen (Democracy Day). The event commenced with opening remarks by CATA President, Namkha Tenzin la, and a reading of the Kashag's official Democracy Day Statement by CATA Vice-President, Kunsang Dolma la.
